Sherborne Castle

Sherborne Castle has a history that dates back to the 12^th Century. Built by Roger Bishop of Salisbury, the castle served as part of his diocese. In 1592 the castle was acquired by Sir Walter Raleigh, he went on to build a new house in the deer park.
