Bus Sightseeing Options during your UK Beach Holidays

When planning your UK beach holidays in the English Riviera, you must also take into consideration your accommodations and transportation options. Your choice of accommodations should only be the holiday cottages as they provide comfortable, safe, clean and luxurious place to stay in during your UK beach holidays. There are a number of transportation options available such as the bus, train, taxi, bicycle and private cars. The bus, however, is not just your means of going from one destination to another.  There are several buses in the town of Torquay that are specifically for showing you the beautiful places of interest during your UK beach holidays.  Here are some of them.

English Riviera Sightseeing Tour Bus from Torquay

The open-top bus is one of the best ways to explore the English Riviera during your UK beach holidays. You can sit down and relax while you go around the different sites. The sightseeing tours originating from Torquay will take you between Torquay and Brixham. Agatha Christie Vintage Bus Tours

Barnaby, the 1947 classic green vintage bus will take you back in time when this bus was the mode of transportation. You will experience a real “jiggle jerk” ride going to Greenway, which was the holiday home of Agatha Christie located on the River Dart banks. The tour will take you to the different attractions along the Agatha Christie Mile in Torquay and along the beautiful lanes of South Devon. You will be able to have a view of the life of the Queen of Crime, bestselling author Agatha Christie as the driver will give you a cheerful but very informative commentary. This bus tour is operated by Greenway Ferry Pleasure Cruises and is available when the Greenway house is open from March to October. For fans of Agatha Christie, it is a dream come true to go on the Agatha Christie Vintage Bus tour during their UK beach holidays
